Alexa received her B.S. in Community, Environment, and Development (CED) from Penn State with a specialization in Sustainable Food Systems. Prior to her time at UNH, she served as a coordinator for an economic and community development program in rural Idaho. Alexa’s Master’s thesis investigates the extent to which large retail supermarkets can support market access for midsized farms in New England through values-based food supply chains. Alexa is currently the Food Access Program Manager for the Gorge Grown Food Network in Hood River, Oregon.
