Elise is a master’s student in Agricultural Sciences, focusing on Values-Based Supply Chains to support small and mid-scale farm viability in the Northeast. After studying environmental sociology and modern languages at Kenyon College, she worked for Global Greengrants Fund, a grassroots environmental justice foundation, on regional grants management in Latin America and Central and West Africa and with partners including the Agroecology Fund and Pesticide Action Network. Elise also works as a Project Manager with the NH Food Alliance where she is co-managing the development of the New Hampshire Food and Agriculture Strategic Plan. When not engrossed in her food systems research and work, Elise can be found baking bread, doing Pilates, or having coffee with friends.
